Vitamins and minerals in concentrated form are known as dietary supplements and can be a great complement to your skin care routine. Perhaps you are pregnant, or tired during the winter months or just want to give your skin an extra boost with a complete skin care routine that nurtures the skin from the inside out.

Dietary supplements can include amino acids, essential fatty acids, fibres or various herbs and plant extracts in concentrated form. They are taken in small quantities and the recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Examples of dietary supplements that nurture the skin are dietary supplements that contain lactic acid cultures that promote good gastrointestinal microorganisms and strengthen the immune system. Vitamin C contributes, among other things, to normal collagen formation and is therefore a good complement to an age-preventing skin care routine. Zinc helps maintain healthy skin. There are anti-inflammatory supplements that can be a perfect complement to rosacea prone skin. Vitamin D is an important supplement, especially during the winter months when the sun is not providing enough of it.
